Bali's Daily Food Prices: Rice and Chili Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (5/1/2025) at 10:56 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, premium rice, medium rice, broiler chicken, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, pure beef, milkfish, mackerel, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp9,480 (11.35%), reaching Rp93,000 per kg. Mackerel experienced the largest price decrease of Rp2,370 (6.02%), reaching Rp37,020 per kg.
