Jambi Food Prices Latest: Red Chili Price Up, Salt Down

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (August 27, 2025) at 10.17 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases were broiler eggs, red bird''s eye chili, milkfish, bulk cooking oil, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, curly red chili, packaged cooking oil, pure beef, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Milkfish commodity saw the highest jump of Rp893 (2.95%) to Rp31,143 per kg. The price of packaged wheat flour saw the sharpest decrease of Rp208 (1.62%) to Rp12,600 per kg.
