Banten Region Food Prices Tuesday (25/6): Sugar and Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (25/6/2024) at 13:16 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, SPHP rice, bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, dry soybean (import), shallots, pure beef, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The highest price increase was for bulk wheat flour, up by Rp280 (2.76%) to Rp10,430 per kg. The sharpest price decrease was for red chilies, down by Rp6,400 (13.86%) to Rp39,780 per kg.
