Indonesia Food Price Update Today: Prices of Salt, Cooking Oil, and Onions Drop (Friday, January 26, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (26/1/2024) at 12:29 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, mackerel, red chilies, dry soybeans (import), and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, broiler chicken, red chilies, bulk wheat flour, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices increased the most by Rp600 (1.79%) to Rp34,060 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the least by Rp510 (1.14%) to Rp44,350 per kg.
