Bali Food Prices on Sunday (8/12): Cooking Oil Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (8/12/2024) at 09.05 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, premium rice, medium rice, bulk wheat flour, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, chicken meat, shallots, granulated sugar, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,930 (18.28%) to Rp12,490 per kg. Milkfish experienced the largest price decrease of Rp2,580 (6.87%) to Rp35,000 per kg.

9. Chicken Eggs: Rp26,350 per kg (down 2.19%)
10. Curly Red Chilies: Rp19,360 per kg (down 2.52%)
