The agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector in Mahakam Hulu Regency is the mainstay sector and contributed the largest share to the GRDP in 2023, reaching Rp2.51 trillion. This GRDP grew by 1.4% compared to the previous year's Rp2.36 trillion.
Next in second place is the construction sector, which grew by 13.29% to Rp251.09 billion, followed by the mining and quarrying sector in third place with a GRDP of Rp213.71 billion (4.02%).
In addition, other sectors contributing to the top five are transportation and warehousing with a GRDP of Rp156.59 billion.
