10 Provinces with the Highest Fresh Chicken Prices (Monday, March 21, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of fresh broiler chicken (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 44,850 per kg, data as of Monday, March 21, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 44,610 per kg.

The daily price of fresh broiler chicken in Gorontalo's modern markets was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 51,950 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of fresh broiler chicken in this province did not change. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region was Rp 75,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, in Central Sulawesi's modern markets, fresh broiler chicken was sold at Rp 51,200 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of fresh broiler chicken in Jambi was Rp 51,150 per kg, Bali Rp 47,700 per kg, and East Java Rp 45,850 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are six provinces with fresh broiler chicken sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for fresh broiler chicken are North Sulawesi, North Kalimantan, and West Kalimantan.
