Price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 in Modern Markets for the April 2025-2026 Period

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil 1 in modern markets in North Sumatra province is recorded at Rp22,900 per kg. This price remains unchanged from the previous day, as does the price movement over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil 1 in modern markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp21,750 per kg.

Meanwhile, over the past three months in North Sumatra, the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil 1 in modern markets has increased by 8.79% from the previously traded Rp21,050 per kg.

The record increase in the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil 1 in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in April 2017 at 40.74%, while the lowest decrease was recorded in July 2019 at -19.26%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple commodities (sembako) in North Sumatra show that three commodities have decreased in price and 23 others have increased. The staples with price decreases are Fresh Broiler Chicken Eggs, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat, and Chicken Eggs.
