Latest Indonesian Food Prices: Egg, Rice, and Sugar Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (25/12/2024) at 10:51 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken, red chili peppers, red cayenne peppers, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, shallots, garlic bulbs, premium rice, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) prices surged the highest by Rp200 (1.93%) to Rp10,580 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased the most by Rp350 (2.67%) to Rp12,750 per kg.
