East Java Food Prices Today: Rice Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday's.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (21/4/2025) at 14.04 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 18 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are medium-grain rice, premium rice, broiler chicken, farmer-level corn, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, Minyakita (branded cooking oil), broiler eggs, bulk wheat flour, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Medium-grain rice saw the highest price increase of Rp82 (0.65%) to Rp12,795 per kg. Red chilies saw the sharpest price drop of Rp3,619 (5.92%) to Rp57,555 per kg.
