Meanwhile, Migas natural resource revenue experienced a contraction due to the moderation of commodity prices, especially crude oil.

In addition to taxation and PNBP, state revenue also comes from government grants worth Rp13 trillion, surging 128% (yoy).

Overall, the realization of state revenue in 2023 was lower than its expenditure, which reached Rp3,121.9 trillion. As a result, the 2023 APBN had a deficit of Rp347.6 trillion.
