Jambi Region Food Prices, Monday (July 29th): What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (29/7/2024) at 12:33 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased in price and 3 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, mackerel, SPHP rice, skipjack tuna, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, shallots, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp3,800 (10.0%) to Rp41,800 per kg. Shallots experienced the largest price drop, falling Rp940 (3.82%) to Rp23,660 per kg.
