Food Prices in West Java, Monday (January 13th): What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (13/1/2025) at 13.47 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chilies, bulk wheat flour, broiler chicken, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, granulated sugar, pure beef, red onions, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp13,790 (17.89%) to Rp90,880 per kg. Milkfish prices decreased the most, by Rp810 (2.22%) to Rp35,750 per kg.
