Jambi Region Food Prices Wednesday (15/5): Chili and Onion Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (15/5/2024) at 13.57 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, milkfish, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, red chilies, garlic bulbs, chicken meat, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of red chilies increased the most, jumping Rp5,990 (13.3%) to Rp51,030 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of garlic bulbs decreased the least, dropping Rp510 (1.28%) to Rp39,340 per kg.
