Today's Food Prices in East Java: Oil and Rice Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (28/4/2024) at 15.57 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, milkfish, Indian mackerel, granulated sugar, and layer chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), medium rice, red chili peppers, broiler chicken meat, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,490 (3.96%) to Rp39,070 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp610 (2.0%) to Rp29,870 per kg.

8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,710 per kg (down 1.57%)
9. Red Chili Peppers: Rp29,870 per kg (down 2.0%)
10. Layer Chicken Eggs: Rp26,900 per kg (up 0.3%)
