Today's Food Prices in Central Java: Sugar and Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (10/8/2024) at 11:55 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), garlic bulbs, farmer-level corn, fine iodized salt, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, pure beef, red chilies, skipjack tuna, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Fine iodized salt saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp450 (4.11%) to Rp11,390 per kg. Red onion prices, on the other hand, saw the sharpest decrease, dropping by Rp490 (2.16%) to Rp22,160 per kg.
