Daily Red Chili Prices in Traditional Markets of DKI Jakarta Province Decreased by 13.51% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 14:44 WIB, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in DKI Jakarta Province has not changed compared to the previous day, similar to the price trend over the past week.

Regarding the price over the past month, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp49,600.

Meanwhile, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in DKI Jakarta over the past three months has decreased by 33.13%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in DKI Jakarta Province was traded at Rp64,150.

The record high for the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in April 2024 with an increase of 54.2%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2019 with a decrease of -48.45%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in DKI Jakarta show 11 commodities decreased and three increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Red Chili, Chicken Meat, Cooking Oil, Curly Red Chili, Chili, Large Red Chili, Green Chili, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Fresh Chicken Eggs, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, and Chicken Eggs.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price trend over the past month in DKI Jakarta Province:

9. Large Red Chili per Kg Rp59,950 per kg (down 12.1%)
