Latest Food Prices in Indonesia: Egg Prices Rise, Red Chili Prices Fall

Some food prices in Indonesia today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (24/10/2025) at 09.13 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 23 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases were dry soybean seeds (imported) and broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, packaged cooking oil, frozen buffalo meat (imported), red bird's eye chili, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken eggs saw the highest increase of Rp51 (0.17%) to Rp30,597 per kg. Red chili (large) prices dropped the most by Rp2,723 (5.82%) to Rp44,080 per kg.
