West Java Food Prices Friday (September 6th): Rice and Oil Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (6/9/2024) at 09.05 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are shallots, medium-grain rice, red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, dry soybean (import), fine iodized salt, bulk cooking oil, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,310 (5.66%) to Rp43,120 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk wheat flour decreased the most, by Rp580 (5.66%) to Rp9,670 per kg.
