Central Java Food Prices (November 24th): Beef, Rice, and Onion Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (24/11/2024) at 16:28 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), dry soybean (import), milkfish, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, farmer-level corn, skipjack tuna, premium rice, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies surged the highest, up by Rp200 (1.06%) to Rp19,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk cooking oil fell the most, down by Rp150 (0.87%) to Rp17,120 per liter.
