Price of Grade Bawah I Rice in Traditional Markets for the Period April 2025-2026

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:44 WIB, the daily price of Grade Bawah I rice in traditional markets in Papua province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the development of the daily price of Grade Bawah I rice in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp15,45 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily price of Grade Bawah I rice in traditional markets in Papua over the last three months has increased by 2.67% from the previously recorded price of Rp15 thousand.

The record increase in the daily price of Grade Bawah I rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2020 with an increase of 12.5%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in September 2016 with a decrease of -15.38%.

According to the PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods (sembako) today in Papua recorded that ten commodities decreased and 12 others increased. The staple foods with decreasing prices are Curly Red Chili, Medium-sized Garlic, Large Red Chili, Garlic, Red Chili, Rice, Grade Bawah I Rice, Grade Bawah II Rice, Grade Medium I Rice and Grade Medium II Rice.

5. Medium-sized Garlic per Kg Rp56 thousand per kg (down 1.75%)
6. Large Red Chili per Kg Rp78 thousand per kg (down 3.41%)
7. Cooking Oil per Kg Rp22,45 thousand per kg (no change)
8. Garlic per Kg Rp56 thousand per kg (down 1.75%)
9. Red Chili per Kg Rp66,5 thousand per kg (down 2.56%)
10. Rice per Kg Rp16,5 thousand per kg (down 0.3%)
11. Shallots per Kg Rp63,5 thousand per kg (up 13.9%)
