West Java Food Prices Saturday (January 4th): Beef, Chicken, and Rice Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (4/1/2025) at 09.22 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are premium rice (SPHP), chicken eggs, farmer-level corn, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, pure beef, skipjack tuna, medium rice, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp340 (5.93%) to Rp6,070 per kg. Red onions saw the sharpest price drop of Rp1,410 (3.71%) to Rp36,580 per kg.
