Lampung Food Prices Saturday (August 17th): Sugar, Rice, and Beef Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 10:36 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, farmer-level corn, red chilies, bulk cooking oil, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, premium rice, dry soybean (import), milkfish, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna increased the most, by Rp1,760 (6.1%) to Rp30,610 per kg. The price of shallots decreased the most, by Rp640 (3.05%) to Rp20,360 per kg.
