Daily Garlic Prices at Traditional Markets, April 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of garlic in traditional markets in South Sulawesi Province is recorded at Rp46,100. This price is up Rp2,050 compared to the previous day.

Regarding the price over the past month, the daily price of garlic in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp42,050.

Meanwhile, the daily price of garlic in traditional markets in South Sulawesi over the past three months has increased by 13.13% from the previously recorded price of Rp40,750.

The record high for the daily price of garlic in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2020 with an increase of 16.79%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2019 with a decrease of -12.93%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Sulawesi show five commodities decreased and 12 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Super I Quality Rice, Chicken Meat, and Fresh Broiler Chicken.
