Current Food Prices in Lampung: Prices of Chilies, Cooking Oil, and Onions Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (19/5/2024) at 13.53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, broiler chicken, mackerel, red onions, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, iodized fine salt, dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,200 (2.8%) to Rp44,130 per kg. The price of granulated sugar saw the lowest decrease, falling Rp110 (0.62%) to Rp17,730 per kg.
