Food Prices in Jambi Friday (7/11): Red Chili Prices Rise, Buffalo Meat Falls

The prices of several food ingredients in Jambi today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (7/11/2025) at 11:00 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities with rising prices include corn at the farmer level, bulk wheat flour, curly red chili, short mackerel, and Minyakita cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as shallots, pure beef, medium rice, skipjack tuna, and consumption sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Corn at the farmer level saw the highest surge, Rp133 (2.38%) to Rp5,733 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices dropped the sharpest, Rp2,000 (6.25%) to Rp30,000 per kg.
