Banten Food Prices Tuesday (November 12th): Chili and Oil Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (12/11/2024) at 12:06 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, chicken eggs, medium rice, bulk cooking oil, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, premium rice, pure beef, dry soybean (import), and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp3,730 (9.17%) to Rp44,410 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most, by Rp830 (9.89%) to Rp7,560 per kg.
