Latest Food Prices in Jambi Region: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (24/11/2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, garlic bulbs, red chilies, broiler chicken, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, premium rice, shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp1,940 (5.96%) to Rp34,510 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of iodized fine salt decreased the most, by Rp590 (5.0%) to Rp11,210 per kg.
