Today's Food Prices (11/12) in East Java: Red Chili Up, Cayenne Pepper Down

The prices of several food items in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessities Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (11/12/2025) at 16.48 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are shallots, large red chilies, and broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as premium packaged palm cooking oil, curly red chilies, and red cayenne pepper decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chilies saw the highest surge of Rp1,394 (2.97%) to Rp48,394 per kg. Red cayenne pepper prices fell the most by Rp1,727 (2.25%) to Rp74,909 per kg.
