Daily Rice Prices in Modern Markets of DKI Jakarta Province Increased by 9.97% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 4:23 PM WIB, the daily price of rice in modern markets in DKI Jakarta Province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of rice in modern markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp15,050 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of rice in modern markets in DKI Jakarta over the past three months has increased by 8.17% from the previous trading price of Rp15,300 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of rice in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2025 with an increase of 6.09%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in April 2021 with a decrease of -26.78%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in DKI Jakarta show 11 commodities decreased and 18 increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Chicken Meat, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Grade 2 Beef, Fresh Chicken Meat, Cooking Oil, Beef, Medium-Sized Garlic, Garlic, Medium-Sized Shallots, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, and Grade 1 Beef.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price changes over the past month in DKI Jakarta Province:

1. Super Quality II Rice per kg: Rp17,300 per kg (up 24.46%)
2. Chicken Meat per kg: Rp42,700 per kg (down 16.44%)
3. Green Chili per kg: Rp101,950 per kg (up 72.21%)
4. Rice per kg: Rp16,550 per kg (up 9.97%)
5. Shallot per kg: Rp57,050 per kg (up 14.21%)
6. Curly Red Chili per kg: Rp96,450 per kg (up 97.04%)
7. Medium Quality II Rice per kg: Rp15,500 per kg (up 13.55%)
8. Fresh Chicken Eggs per kg: Rp27,800 per kg (up 1.46%)
9. Low Quality I Rice per kg: Rp14,950 per kg (up 5.65%)
10. Red Chili per kg: Rp110,950 per kg (up 62.21%)
11. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per kg: Rp21,650 per kg (down 8.65%)
12. Grade 2 Beef per kg: Rp165,450 per kg (down 7.93%)
13. Super Quality I Rice per kg: Rp20,650 per kg (up 3.77%)
14. Large Red Chili per kg: Rp86,450 per kg (up 64.04%)
15. Fresh Chicken Meat per kg: Rp42,700 per kg (down 16.44%)
16. Cooking Oil per kg: Rp20,900 per kg (down 9.52%)
17. Chili per kg: Rp106,450 per kg (up 77.86%)
18. Premium Quality Sugar per kg: Rp17,500 per kg (unchanged)
19. Beef per kg: Rp192,800 per kg (down 17.18%)
