Latest Food Prices in Central Kalimantan: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Saturday, January 20, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Kalimantan today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (20/1/2024) at 13.47 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, shallots, red chilies, curly red chilies, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, dry soybean (import), garlic bulbs, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp440 (4.36%) to Rp10,540 per kg. Skipjack tuna had the lowest price decrease of Rp400 (1.02%) to Rp38,710 per kg.
