Bali's Daily Food Prices: Rice and Onion Prices Increase

The price of several food commodities in Bali today is observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (25/11/2024) at 11:12 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, tongkol fish, bandeng fish, dry soybean (import), and kembung fish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, broiler chicken meat, red curly chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest price increase of Rp720 (4.24%), reaching Rp17,700 per liter. Red chili peppers saw the sharpest price drop of Rp1,000 (3.48%), reaching Rp27,710 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in Bali according to Bapanas on November 25, 2024, at 11:12 WIB.

7. Red Chili Peppers: Rp27,710 per kg (down 3.48%)
8. Tongkol Fish: Rp27,400 per kg (up 1.67%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp27,110 per kg (up 1.01%)
10. Red Curly Chilies: Rp17,980 per kg (down 2.86%)
