Latest Food Prices in East Java: Beef Prices Up, Shallot Prices Down (Saturday, February 17, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (17/2/2024) at 09.17 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulb garlic, pure beef, dry soybean (import), bulk wheat flour, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, shallots, mackerel, broiler chicken, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna saw the highest increase, up by Rp1,680 (5.48%) to Rp32,350 per kg. Meanwhile, shallots experienced the lowest price decrease, down by Rp2,360 (9.28%) to Rp23,070 per kg.
