Indonesia Food Prices Thursday (5/9): Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (5/9/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, granulated sugar, red chilies, shallots, and corn (farmer level).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, premium rice, milkfish, simple packaged cooking oil, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn (farmer level) saw the highest increase of Rp130 (2.19%) to Rp6,070 per kg. The price of milkfish saw the largest decrease of Rp2,240 (6.71%) to Rp31,120 per kg.

9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,060 per kg (down 0.74%)
