Jakarta Food Prices Wednesday (20/11): Prices of Oil, Beef, and Salt Drop

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (20/11/2024) at 17:52 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, Indian mackerel, bulk wheat flour, curly red chilies, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, pure beef, medium rice, red chilies, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,040 (3.41%) to Rp31,580 per kg. Meanwhile, red chilies experienced the steepest price drop of Rp3,050 (6.48%) to Rp44,030 per kg.
