Latest Food Prices in East Kalimantan: Chili Up, Salt Down (Saturday, January 20, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in East Kalimantan today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (20/1/2024) at 11:41 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), granulated sugar, bulk wheat flour, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, broiler chicken, medium rice, garlic cloves, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of livestock-level corn saw the highest increase of Rp1,140 (12.01%) to Rp10,630 per kg. The price of iodized fine salt saw the lowest decrease of Rp1,210 (12.38%) to Rp8,560 per kg.
