Today's Food Prices in Jambi Region: Chili Prices Up, Rice Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (17/10/2024) at 10:33 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, garlic bulbs, red chilies, mackerel, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, red chilies, shallots, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase, jumping by Rp980 (4.63%) to Rp22,150 per kg. Premium rice saw the largest price decrease, dropping by Rp230 (1.53%) to Rp14,760 per kg.
