Indonesia Food Prices Saturday (July 13th): What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (13/7/2024) at 14.37 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, garlic bulbs, granulated sugar, pure beef, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, shallots, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,280 (2.38%) to Rp55,020 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the largest price decrease of Rp420 (1.34%) to Rp31,030 per kg.
