Bali Food Prices Saturday (January 4th): Prices of Cooking Oil, Eggs, and Salt Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (4/1/2025) at 10:56 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include dried soybean (import), chicken eggs, premium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, and fine iodized salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, chicken meat, milkfish, farmer-level corn, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest at Rp2,420 (2.99%) to Rp83,300 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices decreased the most at Rp3,420 (5.05%) to Rp64,330 per kg.
