Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Prices of Rice, Sugar, and Chilies Increase

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (14/11/2024) at 17.52 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, mackerel, bulk wheat flour, premium rice, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, red onions, broiler chicken meat, chicken eggs, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna increased the most by Rp760 (2.21%) to Rp35,120 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of chicken eggs decreased the most sharply by Rp320 (1.14%) to Rp27,820 per kg.
