Latest Indonesian Food Prices: Chili Prices Rise, Rice Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (23/11/2024) at 14.10 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 17 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include wheat flour (bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, iodized fine salt, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies increased the most, by Rp230 (0.79%) to Rp29,310 per kg. The price of farmer-level corn decreased the most, by Rp40 (0.67%) to Rp5,950 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in Indonesia according to Bapanas on November 23, 2024, at 14.10 WIB.

6. Broiler Chicken: Rp36,290 per kg (up 0.28%)
7. Milkfish: Rp33,270 per kg (up 0.33%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp31,200 per kg (up 0.03%)
9. Curly Red Chili: Rp29,310 per kg (up 0.79%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,340 per kg (up 0.07%)
11. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp18,480 per liter (up 0.38%)
