Food Prices Today (Jan 9) in DKI Jakarta: Bird's Eye Chili and Red Chili Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (Jan 9, 2026) at 14.44 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases were Minyakita and medium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chili, Honan garlic, curly red chili, bird's eye chili, and broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Medium rice commodity increased the most by Rp50 (0.36%) to Rp13,913 per kg. The price of bird's eye chili dropped the most sharply by Rp2,900 (4.55%) to Rp60,850 per kg.

9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp22,550 per liter (unchanged)
