Latest Aceh Region Food Prices: Soybean Prices Up, Fish Prices Down (Monday, December 18, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (18/12/2023) at 09.56 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price were dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), granulated sugar, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, red chilies, mackerel, garlic bulbs, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,060 (8.16%) to Rp14,050 per kg. The price of skipjack tuna experienced the lowest decrease of Rp6,750 (22.77%) to Rp22,890 per kg.

8. Chicken Eggs: Rp24,000 per kg (down 3.42%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp22,890 per kg (down 22.77%)
10. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp18,640 per liter (up 6.51%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp18,000 per kg (up 1.18%)
12. Packaged Wheat Flour (non-bulk): Rp15,000 per kg (up 1.49%)
