Today's Food Prices in Central Java: Salt Up, Onions Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (4/8/2024) at 11:55 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, premium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, fine iodized salt, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, red chilies, shallots, broiler chicken, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour experienced the highest price increase of Rp110 (1.19%) to Rp9,380 per kg. Shallots saw the largest price decrease of Rp590 (2.55%) to Rp22,520 per kg.

8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,120 per kg (down 1.34%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp26,380 per kg (down 0.45%)
10. Shallots: Rp22,520 per kg (down 2.55%)
