Current Food Prices in Jambi Region: Oil and Salt Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (17/7/2024) at 12.26 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include SPHP rice, pure beef, fine iodized salt, skipjack tuna, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, medium rice, broiler chicken meat, chicken eggs, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was red chilies, up by Rp1,430 (3.85%) to Rp38,530 per kg. The sharpest price decrease was shallots, down by Rp730 (2.56%) to Rp27,830 per kg.
