Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Salt Up, Chilies Down (Wednesday, January 31, 2024)

The price of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (31/1/2024) at 11:17 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, red chilies, mackerel, chicken eggs, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, premium rice, dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The highest price increase was for livestock-level corn, up by Rp730 (8.42%) to Rp9,400 per kg. The lowest price decrease was for curly red chilies, down Rp3,760 (6.91%) to Rp50,670 per kg.
