Latest Food Prices in West Sumatra: Prices of Onions, Chicken, and Rice Fall

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (17/11/2024) at 12.09 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, red chilies, curly red chilies, milkfish, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp1,320 (2.91%) to Rp46,720 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most sharply, by Rp9,730 (24.19%) to Rp30,500 per kg.
