Today's Food Prices in Jambi: Cooking Oil Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (12/1/2025) at 13:57 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, Indian mackerel, shallots (bulb), simple packaged cooking oil, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, bulk wheat flour, red chilies, broiler chicken, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest price increase of Rp270 (1.6%) to Rp17,170 per liter. Red chilies saw the largest price decrease of Rp4,060 (5.7%) to Rp67,220 per kg.
