Aceh Food Price Update Today: Salt Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Monday, April 1, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (1/4/2024) at 09.33 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, mackerel, iodized fine salt, simple packaged cooking oil, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, chicken eggs, broiler chicken meat, medium rice, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp4,270 (9.45%) to Rp49,470 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of farmer-level corn decreased the most, by Rp1,750 (22.58%) to Rp6,000 per kg.

9. Chicken Eggs: Rp26,590 per kg (down 1.26%)
