Current Food Prices in East Java: Prices of Sugar, Rice, and Onions Rise

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (26/9/2024) at 18:49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, shallots, broiler chicken, premium rice, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, bulk wheat flour, red chilies, pure beef, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level increased the most, by Rp160 (2.97%) to Rp5,540 per kg. The price of dry soybean (import) decreased the most, by Rp110 (1.07%) to Rp10,150 per kg.
